We saw this film at our favourite cinema, The Curzon, Mayfair, and their description of it is spot on: "A brilliant synthesis of love story, melodrama, ghost story and thriller."
It's in Spanish, is directed by the great Pedro Almodovar and stars Penelope Cruz. I've only seen her in English-speaking roles before and haven't been over-impressed, but here she's fantastic.
The film looks wonderful and all the performances are great. We loved it.
