ANDREW MARR The Making of Modern Britain **

This, like his TV series of the same name, was a bit of a disappointment. Not because it's badly done, but because Andrew Marr's previous book and series, "The History of Modern Britain", was so much more gripping - because it described the world that I was brought up in.

This one looks at the first half of the twentieth century and I couldn't really be bothered with it. I might pick it up again later.
