BALDERDASH AND PIFFLE (BBC2) ***
We both really enjoyed this series about the origins of words and phrases.
Among the more interesting discoveries was finding out that Julian and Sandy in Round the Horne spoke an actual gay language - Palare - and that 'Naff' is an obscene acronym.
